It’s a really fun community event with individuals having the option of running or walking 5km or 10km.  Last year we had nearly 600 participants!

Registration can be in person, by fax, or online through the Manitoba Runner’s Association: www.mraweb.ca

Monday, March 5 – 7 to 8 PM

Wednesday, March 7 – 7 to 8 PM

Saturday, March 10 – 2 to 4 PM

You are welcome to register at Luxton CC if you live within our boundaries (Smithfield – Salter – Selkirk – the River) or if your area does not offer a FCNW Soccer Program.  If you are interested in being a coach or referee, or have any questions, please call the Community Centre at 582-8249 or email luxton.minisoccer@gmail.com.

The youngest children able to register for soccer are those who will be 4 years old during this current year – 2012.

Community Centre Hours:

  • Monday to Friday 6 – 9 PM

  • Saturday 12 – 8 PM

 

Monday – Billiards or Table Tennis

Tuesday – Crafts

Wednesday – Kids Bingo

Thursday – Crafts

Friday – Gym Night* (at the Luxton School Gym)

Saturday – Spaghetti and a Movie

 

Activities – Wii – computers – air hockey – foosball – colouring – movies – nail painting – outside sports – board games – library – ice skating

 

Homework Club* – Starting October 3, Monday to Thursday

Grades 4 to 6 students from 3:30 – 5 PM.  A healthy snack will be provided.

 

Spin Basketball* – Starting October 5 on Wednesdays

Grades 4 to 6 students from 3:30 – 4:30 PM at the Luxton School Gym

 

Gym Night* – Starting October 7 on Fridays at the Luxton School Gym

Grades 1 to 3 students from 6 – 7:30 PM

Grades 4 to 6 students from 7:30 – 9 PM

 

  • The above three activities require a Permission Slip that will go home with students.

 

SPECIAL EVENTS

Halloween House – October 31 from 6 – 10 PM

Goodies and entertainment for all children!


Breakfast with Santa – Saturday, December 3 from 10 AM – 1 PM

Tickets:  $10/child and $3/adult (family rates are available).
