2010 Summer Activities at Luxton

We will be open daily from 11am to 8pm

What Activities are Offered

  • Wading Pool (open to 5pm)
  • SPIN Soccer (Mon. and Wed. afternoons (pre-registration required)

We have a Computer Room, that has Internet access (and our building is air conditioned!)

Winnipeg Minor Hockey Association has teams participating at all age levels in the Winnipeg Minor Female Hockey League.

There is a team for you!!

NEW this season:
Female Novice Division (for girls 8 and under)

Winnipeg Minor Female Council will be hosting a professionally run skate. Billy Keane will oversee an hour of fun and development.

Want to see what female hockey has to offer? Come for a fun “Skate and Educate” at Varsity View Sportsplex on August 31.

There will be two sessions, one starting at 6:30 and the other at 7:40 pm. Full equipment required.

Enrolment is limited to females 8 and under.

We are looking for volunteers to help! No part is too small.

Community Point of Interest

Since early spring of 2002 members of the community having been working to develop a plan for the community. This project falls under the Building Communities Initiative. You can find more information here

The Community Connections computer access is located in the center.

This program is for kids as well as the adults in the community who wish to access the internet for job search, homework research or just to "Surf the Net". Hours of operation are the same as club hours.
