We are also offering with the support of SPIN:

Table Tennis - Mondays starting 6:30
Mini Volley ball starting 3:30 at Luxton School.

PLUS...

Kids bingo on Thursday at 6:30 upstairs

Friday is gym night for children grade 1 to 3 from 6 to 7:30 and grade 4 to 6 from 7:30 to 9 at the school.

If our rink freezes again we have over 50 pair of skates that we loan out to adults or children when we are open.

We have 6 computers with internet access for our community. And thanks to our staff, we do crafts and play games.

All these activities are free!

REFEREES ARE NEEDED FOR BOTH YOUTH AND SENIOR LEAGUES

IT KEEPS YOU ACTIVE, IT CAN BE A REWARDING EXPERIENCE, AND REMUNERATION IS GOOD, SO WHY NOT GIVE IT A TRY?

Type of clinic: Entry Level – Youth Referee
Date: April 5 and 11, 2009
Time: Both days, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Community Point of Interest

Since early spring of 2002 members of the community having been working to develope a plan for the community. This project falls under the Building Communities Initiative. You can find more information here

The Community Connections computer access is located in the center.

This program is for kids as well as the adults in the community who wish to access the internet for job search, homework research or just to "Surf the Net". Hours of operation are the same as club hours.

 Monday-Friday:  6pm to 9pm

 Saturday:  1pm to 9pm

 Sunday: Closed

 Late Dec to Mar (depending on  ice rink) 12pm - 5pm
