We are seeking active community members to volunteer for a number of positions on the board. Please consider joining the board in serving the neighbourhood! Tell all your friends!

Luxton Soccer Committee – Both Jill and Amanda are stepping down from the board this year but they both would like to assist on a newly formed Luxton Soccer Committee. If your kids are in soccer, please consider joining us as the Registrar, Soccer Convener or a Committee Member!

Publicity – This position helps update the community centre website and FB page.

Canteen – Help coordinate the canteen

Secretary – takes notes at board meetings and the AGM and helps organize the group and planning meetings. This position could also include coordinating correspondence for the centre.

Softball Convener – We would love to keep baseball alive in our community!

Grants & Specials – Have an interest in grant applications? We would love your assistance. Much of the money we spend comes from various grants. This position would seek out and apply for grants as appointed by the board.

  Have you heard of our breakfast program? Every school morning, kids come to the Luxton Community Centre for a nutritious and filling breakfast before they head off to school.
